So I am in the state of mind that all music sucks and yet I listen to it (what can I do? I need my music!).
I was watching a show called Live From London, I think, and then a band, a fairly new band, stepped on to the stage. First I was like, Oh, a new band that is going to sound like every other band, so I didn't anticipate anything, but then they started and I was positively surprised to hear that their music was nice. It's not anything completely new since everythings already been done, but it was a nice change from the usual club-tunes as I would like to call it.
The band is British which is enough for me to be a wee bit more interested! Kid British is the name of the band and their album "It was this or football - first half)" is available now. It costs 5 pound at amazon.co.uk, but there's only 6 tracks on the CD which makes me think twice before I buy :p

I hope that they can break through in Europe and later...the world! :D
